Toronto Comic Con

These days, not only children but also adults are very interested in cartoons. I am no exception, and I heard about Comic Con which is an annual comic book and pop culture convention held in Toronto. I had been looking forward to visit there and finally I went there a week ago. It held for 3days from Mar 15 to Mar 17 and I went there on Sunday. The location was Metro Toronto Convention Centre, which is CN tower nearby, and I used subway to get there.

I was able to see many people who wear various costume from the entrance, and that was enough to made me excited. Ticket fee was $30 for adults and I could get an admission card after paying.

First thing that I saw in there was diverse goods relate to comics such as T-shirts, mouse pads, paintings, movie posters and so on. I bought some paintings about Ghibli animation.

I think people were able to get autographs from famous voice actors, but I didn’t know any of them, so I couldn’t enjoy this part.

One of the highlights of this festival was seeing other people’s cosplay. It was my first time to see the cosplay and I was very impressed. I really enjoyed a lot and I hope I will be able to attend Comic Con again someday.

  1. Hello from Ireland! What a great write up of your visit to ComicCon – including your own photos (I’m guessing they are) is a great idea, and really helps illustrate your insights, and make me feel like I attended as well 🙂 Keep on writing!
